I’ll be joining Sara Petite on Saturday, May 8 at the Oasis for an evening of Americana music. If you have not made it out to the Oasis, now’s your chance – great people, intimate room and a free car wash during the show. OK, so that last part was BS, but the rest is true. I’ll do a short opener set and who knows, may even join Sara for a few duets like we used to do.

Houston Jones is a San Francisco Bay Area based high-octane Americana quintet. Formed in 2001, the band performs a strong original repertoire that ranges from bluegrass and folk to blues and gospel.

Join Plow for the first night of a new decade down at The Soda Bar, 3615 El Cajon Blvd this Friday 01/01/10 – we have put together a great 3 band bill performing traditional and original roots music. Emily Bonn brings her original Northern California flavored country-cajun-oldtime music down south. She will be joining forces with San Diego based Anna Levitt (fiddle), Given Harrison (upright bass), Michael Nieman (percussion) & musical guests from River City and Trouble in the Wind.

Come on up to Santa Ysabel (Julian, CA) on Dec 19th and hear Plow perform our last Red Barn show for 2009…it may be a while until you hear us in this setting again. Winter time up there is special indeed – the barn is cozy, food is outstanding, beers are cold and the band is hot! We play from 6 to 9pm and perform a broad selection of originals, early bluegrass, swing and old-time string band music. Featuring our newest member, “Big” Joe Pomianek on guitar, mandolin & harmony vocals, Plow delivers high energy good time music with David Bandrowski on banjos and Doug Walker on the upright bass. Bring the whole family and come celebrate the holidays in Julian.
